About Dottie

As a counselor and nonprofit advocate, Dottie is devoted to encouraging and equipping individuals with the knowledge of who they are in God so that they are able to embrace and love themselves right where they are on they way to where they are going. In addition to individual counseling services, Dottie’s faith based counseling services focus on healing families through individual session, marriage counseling, grief recovery counseling, and traumatic recovery. Dottie has traveled across America and Canada to teach the art of hearing God, and is currently working on a new daily devotional as well as a seminar focused on emotional healing.

Prior to coming alongside TAC, Dottie served as a Law Enforcement Chaplain with the Chattanooga Police Dept. as a Squad Leader, Asst. Lead Chaplain, and Lead Chaplain where she was named Chaplain of the Year in 2022. Dottie has been a First Responder to numerous Critical Incidents. and is a current member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

Prior to moving to Chattanooga, Dottie served as the Dept. Head of the Institute of Spiritual Development at Streams Ministries, International in Ft. Worth, Texas. As a business woman, she founded Summer House Fine Arts, with galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Scottsdale Arizona, and trained as a Midwife while living in Dallas, enjoying the honor of assisting with numerous births.

When she is not encouraging and equipping others, Dottie loves gardening and growing heirloom vegetables and berries in her backyard farm and spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as her great-grandson.

Dottie is a graduate of Restoration Theological Seminary and holds a B.A. in Pastoral Education, and an M.R.A. in Pastoral Counseling, Summa Cum Laude. She the Founder and Pastor of Lionsgate Ministries, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a licensed and ordained minister with the Gateway Restoration Network.
